The 800MT Explore is the latest version of the CFMOTO 800MT motorcycle. This model has been upgraded not only visually but also in terms of power, and it comes packed with new features and accessories to make your journeys even more enjoyable.
The new version features an improved traction control system and a large 8-inch display with Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay connectivity. For added safety, it includes a blind spot detection system, a bi-directional quickshifter, and a CF-SC slipper clutch.
And that’s just the beginning — many of these premium features come as part of the standard equipment.
The CFMOTO 800MT Explore comes with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.
Registered as an A2 motorcycle: this motorcycle can be downsized to meet the A2 motorcycle category.
ENGINE
The CFMOTO 800MT is powered by a 799cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine, developed with the help of KTM, producing 67 kW of power and 77 Nm of torque. The 800MT offers excellent engine performance. It is worth noting that the engine is fitted with a 75-degree camshaft, which creates the low-speed thrust characteristics of a V-Twin engine. The compact size of the engine means that it is closer to the road surface, thus improving the handling of the bike.
BI-DIRECTIONAL QUICKSHIFTER
With the bi-directional quickshifter system, the clutch is only needed when starting or parking the motorcycle. Gear changes become quick and seamless, allowing the rider to stay fully focused on the road and the riding experience.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)
Riders can monitor tire pressure directly from the menu at any point during the ride, helping detect changes in real time.
Pressure can also be adjusted to suit different terrains, ensuring optimal grip and performance throughout the journey.
CROSS-SPOKE WHEELS
The CFMOTO 800MT Explore is equipped with cross-spoke wheels that offer greater resistance to road impacts while reducing overall wheel weight. These wheels handle rough terrain with ease and are easier to repair if needed during long-distance adventures.
STEERING DAMPER
Uneven road surfaces, sudden bumps, and dips can cause rider fatigue and put stress on the suspension. The steering damper helps maintain handlebar stability, reduces rider strain, and improves control over rough terrain filled with rocks and ruts — effectively protecting the motorcycle’s suspension system.
J. JUAN BRAKES
The J. JUAN braking system features dual 320 mm front discs with four-piston radial calipers for maximum stopping power. The rear brake includes a 260 mm single disc with a two-piston caliper. This high-performance setup delivers industry-leading braking efficiency and control.
FUEL TANK
The 19-liter fuel tank provides added confidence for long-distance rides. Its three-dimensional design is ergonomically shaped to enhance rider stability and comfort — both when seated and standing during the ride.
CRASH BARS
The CFMOTO 800MT Explore comes standard with original crash bars that fully comply with road regulations. These bars are uniquely integrated into the front-end design, giving the bike a bold and rugged look while providing maximum protection for the fuel tank, front frame, and main chassis.
CORNERING ABS SYSTEM
The CFMOTO 800MT Explore features a cornering ABS system that manages braking force and power while leaning into turns. It ensures maximum stability and traction — even during sudden braking in corners.
CRUISE CONTROL
When riding above 40 km/h in fourth gear or higher, the rider can activate the cruise control function to maintain a steady speed without using the throttle. Speed can be adjusted using the RES and SET buttons, with a maximum cruise control speed of 120 km/h.
This feature enhances comfort on long rides, reduces rider fatigue, and improves fuel efficiency by eliminating unnecessary speed fluctuations.
BLUETOOTH CONECTION
The motorcycle supports Apple CarPlay and features a touchscreen display with Bluetooth phone integration. This allows voice control of various functions and enables navigation information to be displayed directly on the screen for a more connected and convenient riding experience.
T-BOX SMART SYSTEM
The T-BOX smart system features a built-in 4G module that allows real-time tracking of your motorcycle’s location. With the help of a 6D sensor, you can monitor all key functions, including trip distance, routes taken, top speed, and other riding statistics — all conveniently accessible through a dedicated mobile app.
KYB SUSPENSION
The CFMOTO 800MT is equipped with a KYB inverted telescopic front fork, enhancing handling and control. Designed for touring demands, the front suspension offers 160 mm of travel, while the rear suspension provides 150 mm of travel with 20-step adjustable preload, compression, and rebound settings for fine-tuned performance.
The fork tubes are protected by plastic guards integrated into the front fender, providing added durability and protection on challenging terrain.
MICHELIN TYRES
The CFMOTO 800MT Explore is equipped with Michelin multi-purpose tubeless tyres and spoked wheels. The front tyre measures 110/80 R19, and the rear 150/70 R17. Thanks to high-quality rubber compounds and strict quality control, these tyres offer excellent wear resistance, reliable grip on both paved and unpaved roads, and are perfectly suited for long-distance touring.
STORAGE BOXES
The CFMOTO 800MT Explore comes equipped with dust- and waterproof side cases offering a total of 63 liters of storage (35L + 28L). The interior surfaces are scratch-resistant, and the cases are securely mounted on the bike but can be easily detached when needed. Additionally, the bike includes a top aluminum case that is also dust- and waterproof, providing an extra 6 liters of capacity. Its interior is also lined with a scratch-resistant coating. All cases come standard with stainless steel mounting brackets, ensuring easy installation and reliable support for long journeys.
