The base plate was developed to reinforce the frame in the area of the front differential.
When used with large wheels, motorsport or tracks, the base plate rotates in the area of the drain screw(differential). In some cases the cardan shaft is in contact with the A-arm, which increases the damage.

You can use the reinforcement plate as a screwable reinforcement. However, we recommend welding the JAY PARTS base plate firmly to the frame and thus completely eliminating the weak point. Plate must be painted before / after assembly depending on the use.
